Tuesday Club Tuesday Club is for adults and juniors who are interested in playing either for the junior county team or for the club. The main objective is to explore chess and understand how to win. This involves understanding the many elements of the game, some of which are rarely taught. Our ambitious approach should provide rewards for everyone. Membership of the group is strictly limited in number and may be withdrawn in the event of persistent non-attendance. The first meeting is at Billy Lows Lane on Tuesday 2nd October 2007. We will be looking at checkmates against the lone king and looking at a master game. In future weeks we will learn how to analyse and annotate games in Hiarcs (Fritz), look at some common openings and discuss members games amongst other activities.
